Cancellation policy

Introduction

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel this contract under certain conditions. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.

Right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods. To exercise the right to cancel, send us (SUEDHANG Kaffee GmbH, Jakobsgasse 4, 72070 Tübingen, info@suedhang.org) a clear statement (e.g. by letter or e-mail) of your decision to cancel this contract. You can use the attached sample cancellation form, but this is not obligatory. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

Consequences of cancellation

In the event of cancellation, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs incurred due to a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery chosen by you). This repayment will be made immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your cancellation. 

For the refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. Under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this refund. We reserve the right to withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have sent the goods back - whichever is earlier.

You are obliged to return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case within fourteen days at the latest from the date of notification of cancellation. The deadline is met if you have dispatched the goods before the end of the fourteen-day period. 

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods yourself. 

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary to check their condition, properties and functionality.

General information

1) To avoid transport damage, return the goods in their original packaging if possible, including all accessories and packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. 

2) Avoid returning the goods carriage forward. 

3) These instructions are not mandatory in order to effectively exercise your right of cancellation.
